So first off I want to talk about the Carnal, Bloody, Unatural EP. To make things easier on FDAU it will be for download only from here on. So if you want it go to the bandcamp page or search the internet, it's on a few blogs here and there.
Second on April Fools Day I put out a free EP so cleverly titled the April Fools EP 2012. I want to do one of those every April Fools Day. Just a little gift to you guys for the emotional support that keeps me going. If you haven't gotten it yet go to the bandcamp page.
Third, I will not be updating the reverbnation page anylonger. I'm sick of everytime I go on there I have countless offers to play live on festivals and gigs that don't even pretain to metal. So if you want to hear new music you have to go to facebook or bandcamp.
Fourth, there is a split CD in the works with Dressed for Apocalypse, Syphilic Diarrhea, and Purulent Pile. It should be 40 minutes plus! And will feature the April Fools EP fully re-recorded with better guitar sound and much better mixing. There is no word on when this will be out yet, so stay tuned for more details!
Finally, I want to talk about a new direction that I want to take Perverse Imagery. I want to not only use the Saxophone like I have in the April Fools Ep and the Split CD respectively, I want to increase it's usage to more then just random solos here and there. I have a deep love for all things swing style, especially the big band music of an era long passed. I want to combined the composition style of such music with the goregrind and slam that I am known for. Nothing has been written yet but I reckon that it will be very out there.
